Re: Sodium Bicarbonate cAMP activator and Testosterone booster

Yeah i've tried this a bit, in theory it should work, activating cAMP -> protein kinase A -> serotonin transport. And the testosterone part is great too.
I'll look forward to hearing how it turns out if you continue using it

Re: Aphantasia Induced by SSRIS

I've had this, along with the sexual bits. I've gotten very frustrated when reading, listening to music or w/e because i know i used to have images spring up and spin away, spontaneously, and they would like.. help me "get into" whatever it is i was doing, reading, etc. Things have felt re...

Re: Metergoline - 5-ht1a antagonist

Yeah i did use forskolin along with it, although not every day. Maybe i didn't use it enough. I'm sure MET can be a good drug, it's at least worth trying out. I think it did make me feel better overall but i reached a plateau where i would just feel nothing so i stopped it for now. Interesting to se...

Re: Metergoline - 5-ht1a antagonist

Hey @kinncrimson sorry for not responding earlier I used metergoline for a few weeks. Stopped it now because it was making me feel empty-like. It didn't feel right. Libido wasn't really affected much, but like with other serotonin antagonists i've tried my testicles got fuller and looked a little be...

Re: Serotonin

After using antagonists for a while i think you're probably right with your theory Foxx, that we actually need serotonin to recover the SERT/serotonin neurons or whatever combination of things there are that's messed up. Serotonin antagonists make me feel really calm but also very empty, creativity ...

Re: Cyproheptadine - serotonin antagonist

I've used it off and on but at longest for about 2 months, max dose i used was 8 mg/day. I think 0,5-1 mg is plenty, especially in the beginning, it can be very sedating.

Re: Cyproheptadine - serotonin antagonist

Cyproheptadine made my testicles bigger and looking pretty healthy, but no help on motivation, sexual arousal etc.

Re: Sense of smell diminished too

Serotonin does seem to be able to dull ones sense of smell;

"Odor-evoked synaptic input to glomeruli was attenuated by increased serotonin signaling through serotonin 2C (5-HT2C) receptors and amplified by decreased serotonergic activity."

Re: Metergoline - 5-ht1a antagonist

I'm actually allblues @ raypeatforum ;) Yeah i'm still taking it, this is my second week. I've been combining it with forskolin now for about a week and i also take some Gingko biloba. Like i wrote at RPF i took a break last weekend and i felt a rebound. But this week i've been feeling better, i too...
