Re: What do you tell yourself on the hard days?
I have and do feel everything that you just explained. The situation we are facing is not something any human being should ever experience. I have been to the utter bottom in complete despair. I didn't go to work for nearly three months after this happened to me upon quitting celexa in January of 10...

Re: Did SSRIs work for you?
I thought citalopram did. While I was actually taking it I had no sexual sides that I noticed and I did not experience much anxiety at all, which is what led me to try it. After I quit taking it and developed PSSD I now know that I was slowly poisoning myself.

Re: Sense of smell diminished too
Yes. My sense of smell is garbage since using Citlaopram. I used to have a very keen sense of smell. Now, even when others around me notice something I don't know what they are talking about.

Re: Can anyone have intercourse anymore?
I can. I'm with a long-time partner so I have no performance anxiety. I can get a sufficient erection for intercourse but I always have a soft glans and my sensitivity is low. I have seen some improvements since this all began for me almost two years ago. However, I still have no libido, no mental a...

Re: I am working on a solution in my own way
I had troubles getting signed up to the forum here as well. I guess the reason I don't post very much and lurked for a long time has to do with the nature of this problem. Years ago, after I tried zoloft I ended up with prostatitus and anhedonia and I did not know that it likely we induced by using ...

Re: Hormone levels
I used Citalopram and my DHEA is really high on a recent test. Soon after developing PSSD my testosterone was exceedingly low and my LH and FSH levels very low as well.

Cushed test results and experimentation
Attached is an image of the results of a male hormone panel I had done through ZRT. I have more labs that I will be uploading. Let me know if the file does not open. You will see I have very low testosterone for my age. It was even lower immediately after I developed PSSD, and I will be attaching th...

Re: Did you go cold turkey and got PSSD afterward?
Cold Turkey off of Citalopram. When I started feeling awful I tried re-instating and tapering but then went cold turkey a second time. After about a month one day I noticed my genitals were numb and also had some strange uncomfortable feeling in my glans. At the same time I had night sweats, hot fla...
