Dangerwood Intro / Near Natural Recovery Hi everyone. Been lurking this site for a couple years now but for good reason. Believe me I have wanted to post for a while now about my story / near recovery but I wanted to wait several months to make sure 100% that what I’m telling you isn’t just a phase...

Re: GABA A3/4/5, inflammation and mitochondria
Glad to see talking and reaserching about gaba. Gaba plays a big role in our pathogenesis. We need to upregulate naturally
allopregnenolone and alpha4 gaba receptor subunit. Chronic SSRI downregulate both ( while acutely upregulate allpregnanolone biosynthesis).

Re: 5-ht theory and steroidogenesis
I think I have found the final lick to understand the situation 1. First article: https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/m/pubmed/15936112/ "Serotonergic 5-HT2A receptor stimulation induces steroid 5alpha-reductase gene expression in rat C6 glioma cells via transcription factor Egr-1. Morita K, et al. B...

Re: low dose ssri
Very interesting. One step to lower cortisol is avoid stimulant like caffeine. It raises testosterone and cortisol acutely but more the last one, so try to lower caffeine as you can Second, I ve found beta-carotene and retinoids(vit A that is its metabolite) can: 1 accumulates in dopaminergic brain ...

Re: Could Buspar cause Pssd?
I think you are right however my dr now wants me to go on Paxil. I have tried ssri’s in the past and did not tolerate them well. My ability to orgasm did come back after using them though (lexapro about 2 weeks and cymbalta for a week). Still it worries me knowing what could potentially happen. She...

Re: Pssd and SIADH
Very good info man. I highly suggest everyone to test electrolites, albuminemia and BUN/creatinine ratio in their blood test with the hormone levels.
Tell me, how about your protein intake? Does it is very insufficient or not?

Pssd and SIADH
Guys.. I have no time in this month but would looking better about ADH levels. It is well recognised by the literature SSRI can do an ADH imbalance. ADH means Anti Diuretic Peptide and is secreted by neurohypophysis (like oxytocin). ADH regulates sodium balance.sodium is essential for neurons depola...
