Antifungals

I think I may have thrush and that the GP may give me an antifungal. Are there some antifungals that are safer for people with PSSD? Thanks 🙏

Re: Are there safer antibiotics?

Thank you so much, that’s really helpful info. Do you know what are the other main classes of drugs we should be avoiding if possible? Thanks 🙏

Are there safer antibiotics?

Are there safer antibiotics for people with PSSD? Need a plan of what to ask for if at some point in the future I need antibiotics, which presumably I will. I was also wondering if anyone has a link to something I could show my GP about the risk of antibiotics with PSSD? Many thanks 🙏

Re: Currently working with doctors for first time and really worried

Hello, Hope that all goes well for you, I’m glad they are taking it seriously. Sorry to hear about the additional numbness. Hope the uro / gyn that you’ve found is well versed in PSSD? Well done for finding them, and well done in general. 🌞

Re: have you already reported your side effects?

Well done for reporting. I reported the other day too.

So the psychiatrist never turned up? They’re terrible.

Re: The rest of your life

I just reported my PSSD onto yellow card. I recommend it if you’re in the UK. https://yellowcard.mhra.gov.uk/

Re: The rest of your life

Hey, Thanks so much for your kind words. Yea there’s nothing like completely fudging up your life with addiction, to make you and those around you so pleased when it sorts out. You just waste a lot of years with it. But there’s no point dwelling on that! I’m so glad you’re starting to do more things...

Re: The rest of your life

Hey, Bless you. My life also is not going how I would have thought it would have. I’m 39 and have recently quit my job and moved back in with my parents due to poor mental health. I am feeling better not to have the pressure of work and grateful to my parents for putting me up. But yes, single for y...
