Figure 2 of this study explains the connection between Kisspeptin in the brain and other parts of the body. So there is a direct connection between Kisspeptin, VEGFA and angiogenesis. Does having an antibody against a receptor cause the immune system to only attack the receptor or would it affect cells?

In case our problem is autoimmune, would the immune system only be removing the named receptors or would it also affect the cell the specific receptor was found on?
