Re: Muscle wastage

I had PFS for about 4 years with awful muscle wastage that eventually halted and improved to a small degree. However, I made a horrible mistake of taking Lexapro after that time, just for 3 days, which fully crashed me again. Much worse muscle wastage and hair shedding/thinning to an insane degree. ...

Re: Worst crash ever!

[/quote] Hi Sofa, It sounds like you are still in the relatively early stages of this nightmare. From reading your intro post, it looks like you've been dealing with this for a few months at this point. I'm going to echo what some of the users above wrote and urge you to stay away from B vitamins an...

Re: Worst crash ever!

Avoid b12. It is a methyl donor. Meso went into all this a while back. Honestly, try avoiding any supplements right now it seems like you are very sensitive. I sent you a pm about this. I'd like to add that being deficient in B12 can cause symptoms similar to PSSD symptoms and if left untreated can...

Hair thinning/ Hair Loss Poll

Since crashing from Lexapro after using it for 3 days, my previously thick and full head of hair has completely changed texture and has been shedding rapidly for almost a month. My hair is getting thinner and shorter, with rapid recession at the temples. This is accompanied by itching and a burning ...

Re: Dknighten's Journey to Normalcy

Meso did mention avoiding vitamin d. I hadn’t seen that and upped my vitamin d the last couple of weeks and did notice more numbness, yet weirdly and improvement in my emotions and mood. Since stopped vitamin d. It’s really uncertain so do what you feel is healthiest for you. Since speaking with yo...

Re: Dknighten's Journey to Normalcy

Sorry you are going through it. You’ve recovered to a point of strength before, and there is hope you can do it again! Don’t regret your decision to seek help for mental health. It was with logical intent and was a reasonable thing to do at that time. There is a thread on this forum with things to ...

Re: Dknighten's Journey to Normalcy

Avoid marijuana for one thing. Also, did you fill out an RxISK Report? I have not. I was seeing my primary care doctor about PFS for quite a while and finally let her talk me into trying Lexapro because it was the "safest." I told her about the immediate symptoms and she advised I stopped...

Dknighten's Journey to Normalcy

Hi friends, I have been a Post Finasteride Syndrome suffererer since I took just a single 1mg pill of Finasteride back in October 2018. It gave me bad cognitive and physical issues.
