Re: The pathophysiology of Post SSRI Sexual Dysfunction – Lessons from a case study (2023)
This is great to see it's being recognized and taken more seriously now and how each person needs to be looked at uniquely, it's not a one size fits all situation by any stretch.

Re: I recovered 80% from PSSD and was happy, then took meds again
As the above post. I beileve all drugs that interact with neurobiological processes can potentially lead to neuro-adaptation that can lead to PSSD and related syndromes. I am a firm believer that PSSD is just a manifestation of a broader withdrawal/drug syndrome. Mine was not caused by SSRIs, even t...

Re: Any experiences with reverting semen volume back?
Interestingly my volume now greatly exceeds what I had in my 20s before falling ill and getting on the whole medication bandwagon in the first place. Although I am still in the process of very careful tapering (14ish months in and another 12-18 month to go) and my symptoms vary like a maniac over mi...

Re: Strong case for dopamine
Although this is all speculation. My neurologist which is regarded as one of the top ones in the Asia Pacific area said serotonin systems do fully recover but take months to a few years. Dopamine neurons take significantly longer and in some rarer cases only partly recover or not at all. It's very ...

Re: Windows Question
@6-eggs I realize that my question may be irritating, but I was wondering in how far you can say you suffer from PSSD if you’ve had “100s of 100% windows over the last 6 months or so”. Six months make about 180 days. If you’ve had 100s of windows, there’s actually not much time for PSSD, is there? ...

Re: Windows Question
Many, many of them. Not often all aspects 100% at the same time but a good number of times yes and often other aspects I have seen 100s of 100% windows over the last 6 months or so. Some things are better than pre meds. Like orgasms have been often extremely intense. Ejaculate volume is far greater ...

Re: Can change environment benefit my condition?

My opinion is yes, This is how I got severe and sudden SD and fatigue in the first place along with depression that fol...

Re: Consistent pattern of vitamin D supplementation worsening PSSD
I have no issues at all. How much dosage did you take ? Did you take enough magnesium?? Yes, all my vitamins and bloods are excellent as I eat a lot and a varied diet, but I do get borderline vit D deficiency during winter. I don't always take it, just on and off just to make sure it's not too low....
