Re: Nitric Oxide Stack to Treat PSSD (Cure PSSD Protocol 2021)

Everyone really interested, read those studies. I'd recommend to read fully the first study: especially serotonin and anxiety parts. Link with ERK phosphorylation and CREB activity as well as 5HT1A and SERT connection looks really important here. 1. Neuronal nitric oxide synthase and affective disor...

Re: Nitric Oxide Stack to Treat PSSD (Cure PSSD Protocol 2021)

Dexmedetomidine facilitates the expression of nNOS in the hippocampus to alleviate surgery-induced neuroinflammation and cognitive dysfunction in aged rats (https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC8343769/). 5-HT(1A)R-selective agonist 8-OH-DPAT and selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor (SSRI)...

Re: The reason we don't respond to any drugs, PSSD root cause IL6-SERT feedback loop

Your kynurenine acid and Quinolinic acid correspond to my results. If we talk shortly about IDO/TDO and serotonin metabolism, here is a brief description of my thoughts. 1-2% of tryptophan is converted into 5HTP through tryptophan hydroxylase, which is then converted into serotonin through aromatic ...

Re: The reason we don't respond to any drugs, PSSD root cause IL6-SERT feedback loop

I think there is a probability of IDO/TDO antibodies, but take this statement with a pinch of salt in the meantime. All my major improvements were due to interference with serotonin levels and receptors, interactions with immune system (caught a flue after experiments with histamine, dexamethasone) ...

Re: The reason we don't respond to any drugs, PSSD root cause IL6-SERT feedback loop

I wrote about cytokine & serotonin connection a long time ago, and you are not right here. The problem is not in IL-6, the problem is related to TH2 cytokines, IDO/TDO, immune predisposition (gut dysbiosis and stress) and defective serotogenic system (including genetic mutation and epigenetic ch...

DXM nay have an influence on 5HT1A (not sure whether presynaptic tho) or at least its G-coupled protein. "A high dose of DM significantly produced serotonin syndrome in mice. In addition, treatment with DM resulted in a significant increase in 5-HT1A receptor mRNA expression" (https://aca...

Re: I am going to drop a major bomb soon

5HT1A alters serotonin levels. Serotonin levels interefer with other serotonin receptors. These receptors lead to immune dysfunction, including your hyperresponsiveness to mycoplasma pneumoniae, and low cd57 number, similarly to low th2 number in me. Could make sense. So the actual treatment is foc...

Re: I am going to drop a major bomb soon

I edited the main post, u can check this up. Thanks, I read your theory. I have a question.. How does this explain the chronic fatigue, loss of muscle, head pressure and other symptoms seen in severe pssd? You forget that serotonin is a potent Immune Cell Modulator (https://www.frontiersin.org/arti...
