Anyone manage to recover testosterone level after SSRI usage?

I read so many posts and comments online saying they became low T permanently and had to go on TRT treatment after SSRI usage. Not everyone though, some people had no changes yet still had PSSD, and some only a little. I also wonder if it does something to androgen receptors and its sensivity to tes...

Re: Lithium orotate + DHEA

Yeah a lot of people have been saying lithium cured their PSSD, but I think they're talking about the pharmaceutical version, where they get prescribed lithium from doctors, not lithium orotate, though I wonder if it matters. Would love to hear this elaborated more or researched into, why does lithi...

What are some ways to recover testosterone level after SSRI?

I heard many stories of people who had their testosterone levels dropped significantly during and even after SSRI treatment. It was evident by their blood test. Some of these people got on TRT and saw some improvements. Are there alternatives to TRT? Why does SSRI cause long lasting changes to testo...

PSSD caused by poor metabolism of specific enzymes?

Lexapro/Escitalopram: CYP2C19 (36%), CYP2D6 (30%), and CYP3A4 (34%) Trintellix/Vortioxetine: CYP2D6 Cymbalta/Duloxetine: CYP2D6 and CYP1A2 According to studies, specific ethnicity tends to have poorer metabolism of these enzymes, whereas others are stronger. China's favourite antidepressants are rep...

What are your thoughts on vortioxetine/Trintellix/Brintellix?

I heard it's similar to an SSRI, but slightly different, it's something called serotonin modulator. Has anyone here tried this? It's also been reported to not have sexual side effects.

Brain food wrote: Mon Sep 12, 2022 3:40 pm What do you mean by your PSSD gets worse?
Without vitamin D, there is at least 50% penile sensitivity, pleasure in orgasm, but after vitamin D, it's about 5%... almost complete numbing, it feels like I'm touching nothing...

Consistent pattern of vitamin D supplementation worsening PSSD

This is a consistent pattern that I keep noticing, and it's a 100% chance of occurring. Whenever I take vitamin D supplementation, even through different brands, my PSSD becomes significantly worse pretty much within 24 hours, though it's temporary, it always reverses after I stop taking them. One t...

Anyone here had covid? Loss of taste and smell

I got covid recently, and it was accompanied by a loss of taste and smell, and man, this hits home because of how similar it is to PSSD. No feelings and numbness when eating food, and smelling anything, it might as well be the same as PSSD but for taste buds/tongue, and nose. It's a bit of a relief ...
