Re: Micro dose of clomipramine flipped my PSSD in opposite direction

Lunchbox634, glad to hear you are having a positive experience. When you say a few grains of powder - did you dilute them in water first?

Also, I read about your window with Selank. How long did that last for?

Re: Selegiline?

What dosage did you take, alteredhomeostasis? My doctor has just agreed to 10mg daily with a meal.

Re: Selegiline?

"No!" as in you haven't tried it, or "no!" as in it's a bad idea?

Selegiline?

I'm thinking about asking my doctor about this. It's an MAOI. I'm wondering if 5-10mg orally would help (wouldn't take it sublingually because it damages your teeth). Any experience?

Re: Someone tried 5α-DHP? (Anhedonia cure case)

Has anyone tried this? I've read anecdotes of it working for general anhedonia, but not for PSSD. Could it potentially make things worse?

Re: Cabergoline vs pramipexole

Pramipexole made my PSSD worse. My libido disappeared. I returned to my baseline PSSD about six weeks after tapering off. I've never tried cabergoline, so I can't compare.

Re: Has anyone specifically regained the ability to have a pleasurable orgasm?

arahant, I know anecdotes aren't evidence, but I don't know what to believe. There's so little research on this subject. The medical community spent so long denying the existence of PSSD that I don't feel I can trust them.

Re: Has anyone specifically regained the ability to have a pleasurable orgasm?

Unfortunately, this poster on r/PSSD says Buspar doesn't work: https://www.reddit.com/r/PSSD/comments/hwjzqy/buspar_helped_me_but_just_for_a_day/ "Your doctor clearly does not know how Buspar works. Buspar on its own increases free serotonin because it desensitizes presynaptic receptors. It has...

Imipramine

My GP has recently suggested this for PSSD. The information I've read online is conflicting - I've read that it can actually increase sexual dysfunction, but I also found a study showing that it can partially reverse Citalopram-induced PSSD in rats. Has anyone tried imipramine for PSSD? I'd also be ...
