Re: PSSD or untreated depression

Well there is something called dysthymia, which is persistent depressive disorder which can last for years. And my symptom is anhedonia, lack of energy (is this a symptom of pssd?), low motivation and am just overall negative. Not sure if pssd if the cause of this

PSSD or untreated depression

Quick question. I wonder if the symptoms people are experiencing are just symptoms of untreated depression or underlying cause. If you think about it, it sounds impossible that pssd could be a thing m, especially this long lasting. How do you make a distinction between untreated depression and pssd?...

TMS

Anyone here try TMS or transcranial magnetic stimulation. rTMS or dTMS is used for depression but was wondering if it can help out PSSD as well. Please post thoughts about this treatment or ECT/other nonpharmacological methods that stimulate neurons for potential success.

Re: PSSD half a decade later: My brain MRI w/ contrast dye

To my knowledge (based on 4-5 persons experience as not many used these tests) QEEG and SPECT is able to detect the loss of brain function after antidepressant. I personally had QEEG after 2,5 years off. I still suffered from severe cognitive issues, chronic fatigue syndrome, pssd, you name it. The...

Re: Kali Intro

I can relate. Do you have mental symptoms like poor cognitive function?
It appears like this doesn’t go away on its own. Just wondering why docs dismiss this condition and why pssd affects a minority of ppl. This is supposed to stop shortly after discontinuing the drug not poison ppl for years....

Thing is, I have no anxiety, like I don't have the energy to worry or pay attention lol. Feel like just like a lifeless body moving.

Re: Reinstate

Low dose is a bunch of BS in my opinion. I don’t think there’s anyone who’s really been helped by this except one or two questionable recovery stories. I think if you’ve waited a couple years for natural recovery and haven’t changed or seen any real progress, then you should reinstate with an adjun...

Reinstate

HI, what is the consensus amongst reinstating or low dose reinstate of SSRI's. I stated symptoms in my intro and wondering the success rate of low dose SSRI reinstate or just SSRI reinstate with or wihtout buspirone would successfully treat PSSD or untreated anhedonia or depression. I took sertralin...

Has Ritalin helped you? Please comment your experience with Ritalin and if it has anything to do with PSSD. Thanks
