Re: Roller coasters and falling: pleasure or suffering?

Numby wrote: Fri Jan 27, 2023 12:31 am Where does that information come from? I’ve never seen any evidence that would support this claim.
I'm surprised that a non-newbie person on this forum- and especially one who uses this polls subforum,
wouldn't know that yet, being as it's right here in the second page of poll threads.

Roller coasters and falling: pleasure or suffering?

It has already been established that people who are on or near the autism spectrum are more vulnerable to getting PSSD, and, if afflicted by it, are less likely to be cured from it. I theorize that the suffering reaction that is caused by high acceleration is an autism-associated trait, that is pres...

quercetin for PSS's insomnia

One of the common non-sexual symptoms of PSS (post-SRI syndrome), and one which I personally have, is insomnia during the time that one should sleep. In my experiments with anti-PSSD supplements, one of the substances that I experimented with is quercetin. It had some benefit against PSSD, but I not...

your religious/theological belief

Both introversion and asperger's syndrome positively correlate to atheism.
Also, both introversion and being on the autism spectrum positively correlate to getting PSSD.
So then, in theory, there would be a higher proportion of atheists among PSSD victims,
and I myself am one of these.

VirtualTeen's strange and conspicuous non-mention of PSSD

In our mission to spread awareness of PSSD to potential victims and unknowing victims, our top priority should be to inform people who are as young as possible- that is, children and adolescents, before they are victimized. The largest and most active internet forum for adolescents is virtualteen.or...

Re: Orgasms' pleasure intensity (while on SRIs)

What's puzzling is that neither of the aforementioned neurotransmitters have made people better. Even intranasal oxytocin is useless. That is because the orgasmic pleasure dysfunction of PSSD is caused not by damage to the brain, but by damage to the spinal cord, such that the spinal cord is not se...

Re: Homeopathic SSRI relieve patient symptoms

Symptoms are similar to those of depression or anxiety, then I don't think it is that surprising psych drugs can help. I am quite convinced some part of my symptoms are psychological, even if I don't feel sad or anxious (I don't feel at all, actually). I am considering reinstating antidepressants, ...

"Technical issues"?
It looked exactly like a DDoS attack, what with the constant time-out errors.
Is "DDoS attack" what you meant by "technical issues"?
And if it wasn't a DDoS attack, then what was it?

Re: Homeopathic SSRI relieve patient symptoms

It isn't the homeopathic effect; the homeopathic effect is pseudoscience. Fluoxetine (AKA prozac) is the only SRI that can be used at a low dosage to cure PSSD in some cases; other SRIs don't work that way. Fluoxetine is unique among SRIs because it is a 5-ht2c antagonist, and can therefore re-sensi...

Re: the condition must be renamed "post-SRI sexual dysfunction"

this is a reoccurring topic. Although the term "pssd" isnt perfect by far, the medical community created this term and deviating from it only causes confusion and fragmentation in a rare condition. I had specificly stated that the abbreviation PSSD would be unchanged. As for the fully-wri...
