Re: Cure attempt #2 (in-progress / initial findings)

Thanks for giving us hope! this is life-changing news to me because your background is very similar to mine and I think I have the same subtype of PSSD How were you able to source DXM ? is it available online ? or did you extract it from other meds that contains it ? or did you just take high doses ...

Re: I.Hope intro

Sorry to hear that. This was also my experience with Vortioxetine. It downregulates pre- and post-synaptic 5HT1A. But it's interesting to note that during the first 2 weeks, there were noticeable improvements across all symptoms. The worsening only started happening after chronic intake. Was this yo...

Re: I.Hope intro

I'm not recommending anyone to do what I'm about to do When I tried Effexor, while on it I felt everything is fine, but the next day, I was worse sexually, I tried it again and again sexually was more worse than ever, but at least I wasn't sucidal, as strange as this may sound I wasn't concerned abo...

Re: I.Hope intro

It was temporary and I'm afraid I'm making things worse so I will give it sometime to think before I decide I will be back on SSRIs again

I'm bp2, I tried lithium and it made me very depressed after the long term use.

Re: I.Hope intro

I'll be frank here. There's no way to prevent dopamine receptor downregulation - even partial agonists would eventually, at least, desensitize the receptors. Tolerance to Aripiprazole's pro-hedonistic effect is common. The fact that you are taking Modafinil also means rapid receptor desensitization...

Re: I.Hope intro

You've had a very traumatic and stressful event in your life. Your body got to the point where its had enough and shut everything down. In your post it was obvious that you were extremely ill and the pills did next to nothing. CBT is useless for your condition. You need real trauma therapy to start...

Re: I.Hope intro

I relate alot to your post I.Hope. I also experience the exact same effect on abilify as you do! @Meso what would you say is abilify’s mechanism behind the increased sensitivity? Hey man ! I have read all your posts before and I related to how you described your symptopms too, looks like our brains...

Re: I.Hope intro

Your emotional numbness responds to tonic dopaminergics. Can you get Rasagiline or Piribedil? I advice you to quit taking Aripiprazole, Flibanserin, and Pentoxifylline. They are redundant. I have access to both, the only thing I'm afraid of is downregulating my dopamain receptors, which could lead ...
