Re: My theory - Etiology of PSSD and potential treatment.
I was about to make my own thread on intracellular calcium release for this pathway but found this one. That being said I would like to revive this thread. I am able to make the Cypro rebound come a day earlier or strengthen it with inositol. I am also able to replicate it with megadoses of quercit...

Evodiamine bioavailability and best way to take
Evodiamine has really poor bioavailability when taken orally. So do you think it would work if you put the powder under the tongue and took sublingually? As I know you can take some things this way. But I don't know if it would reach the brain and absorb properly with just the powder or if it needed...

Re: An Excellent Explaination of How SSRI's Inhibit Sert
"The authors found that fluoxetine infusion into the raphe increased the rate of miR-16 maturation from its precursor, which was blocked by WNT3A." https://www.nature.com/articles/nrn2941 This suggests WNT3A might block the mir16 directed effects on SERT. The only thing I have found to inc...

Re: Final theory of PSSD etiology. Get in here!
I read that 5ht1a receptors continually internalise during treatment and then for whatever reason don't return to the surface of the membrane. It could be related to how antidepressants affect sphingolipids and sphingomyelinase, which helps control 5ht1a sensitisation. Something that I don't think h...

If I literally never cough anymore does it point to an issue with histamine? Histidine is high in my organic acids test though

Re: GIRK Channels
I reached out to Dr. Mark Rasenick, who claims (with evidence) that G proteins exiting from lipid rafts are the reason behind delayed SSRI onset of action. I asked him if this has something to do with PSSD and he said: "If augmented Gsalpha activation of adenylyl cyclase persisted, it would in...

I took inositol and I'm still paying the price. It's almost made me dyslexic and totally ruined my cognition. Did nothing beneficial for me at all.
It's changed something but I don't know what exactly

Re: CAUSE OF PSSD FINALLY DISCOVERED (In One Patient) Relinquishing My Research While There Is Still Time
Do you know if your DNA test covered this particular SNP? It is not one commonly tested. And to answer your second question, ornithine and citrulline are two of the main amino acids in the urea cycle, if they are low it could possibly indicate elevated ammonia. You should talk to your doctor to see...

Re: CAUSE OF PSSD FINALLY DISCOVERED (In One Patient) Relinquishing My Research While There Is Still Time
Hi Brooke
I checked my DNA results and I don't have this particular SNP. However my urea cycle markers are all quite low. Ornithine, citruline and urea itself. Does this mean I could have high ammonia?
