What do you mean by libido going strong? What is your baseline? Do you have sexual sensation in your dick at baseline? And what about orgasms? Did they become stronger?

Refraining from sexual activity

Has any of you tried refraining from any kind of sexual activity? For months, or even years?

Re: How researchers of genetics and epigenetics could investigate PSSD

We would need samples from as many people as we can, and then analyze and search for common factors. Imo the problem is not around cytochrome enzymes, rather lies within our brains, probably somewhere around nuclear receptors. Most of us were hypersexuals and overly emotional people, like teenagers....

Re: AR shift

"Based on these and concurrent observations, it was hypothesized that ADT exerts selective pressure for the formation of new paths to restore AR signaling, and that discerning the underpinning mechanism(s) of recurrent AR activity may provide means for the development of new rationally devised ...

Re: AR shift

so it seems that 5ar1 is the dominant type in brain areas responsible for sex differentiation rather than 5ar2, which leads to isotretinoin, which I'm more comfortable with... im back on memantine too I really don't recommend you isotretinoin, just read the wikipedia page! It's not only a simple 5-...

Re: AR shift

the plan is withdrawing finasteride after 4 weeks causing an aggressive shift, from high androgen to low androgen(exactly the opposite that fina with testosterone does) This plan actually presumes that 5-ar activity is still normal. What comes to my mind is that 5-ar can have a shift in affinity to...

Re: AR shift

@Psychogenesis People don't grow indefinitely because of the upregulation of myostatin in response to muscle growth, not because of AR silencing/downregulation. Yes probably AR rebound can silence the AR signaling, but I still don't understand what would unsilence it. If you combine finasteride and ...

Re: AR shift

@Psychogenesis why are you so sure Nandrolone downregulates AR? As far as my readings go, T and androgenic steroids upregulate AR expression in the hypothalamus, especially the mPOA. They restored AR expression in rat's mPOA after castration, it took 3 weeks. Also I think we can't be sure about AR/E...

Re: AR shift

I have bit of a hard time following you. So you are taking Nandrolone already, for 4 weeks now, and your body is filled with DHN, effectively lowering activity at your androgen receptors. And now you plan to add finasteride, to stop the 5-alpha reduction of nandrolone, so you will get a suddenly inc...

Re: My reaction to Progesterone (increased numbness / can't orgasm)

I've posted before a few times about my situation, but I just wanted to post here and say that I recently had to go back on progesterone pills (I have an ovarian/endocrine condition and my doctor wants me on it every few months to protect my uterus) and once again, the numbness is back at like 95% ...
